Used it today to cut branches. Cuts fast and smoothly with ease. The weight with an 80V battery is very manageable, doesn’t tier your arms and a fairly low noise level. I got a strong 45 minutes of cutting. No more hank and crank. Go Greenworks...

I BOUGHT THIS ABOUT A YEAR AGO NOW AND THIS SAW IS EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD. LIGHTWEIGHT EASY TO USE EASY TO SHARPEN I NEED TO PURCHASE A NEW CHAIN TO HAVE AS A BACKUP BUT IT WORKS GREAT!

chain tensioner fails

I really enjoyed this saw. Great cuts, long lasting power, quick charging.
The tensioner quit working after a few months.
Long warranty odyssey resulted in a replacement after 6 months.
Tensioner in the replacement failed after a few hours use

Easy to operate

Doesn't appear to oil the chain. Have tried to clear out any obstruction to no avail. I wouldn't buy it again. Thankfully I have limited use for the saw. Now it needs a new chain.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sorry to hear about your concerns. Try loosening the oil cap to reduce the built-up pressure. There's also a hole in the oil cap make sure that is clean and clear of debris. Run the bar/chain for a few mins prior to use and examine if oil is existing the area as needed. If you are still not getting oil, please contact us at 1-888-909-6757 or by email to info@greenworkstools.com for further assistance.

Lots of power and cuts great! I keep my gas powered Husky as a back up, but this saw does so much I rarely even need anything else!
