I'm 5' 8" and weigh about 175lbs. This is balanced well and I've even taken it on a ladder. I can't hold it steady enough for undercuts, but the overcut works flawlessly. I highly recommend this for any customer who has wooded areas and wants to cut branches from a distance.
I used to cut fown some massive limbs on a large tree. It cut thru them like butter . I have used a gasoline chain saw before. This chainsaw is lighter has less vibration and no fumes. I also Iike it that I didn't have to pull a cord over and over to start it .
I purchased the 80V Pole saw and battery and it was easily able to handle the 4-5 inch branches I threw at it. You do have to remember to check the chain tension often, but that is something you must do with most of the competitors as well. Great tool. Would definitely buy again if I needed to!
After finally getting one that worked(the first one didn't run) waited three weeks to get another one shipped.Good for 4"-6" logs but I tried to cut a 10-12" stump at its base and could only get 1/2 way through and used all the charge on a 2 amp battery.ok for smaller stuff and this is the 80V 16", anything less than this is probably useless for anything bigger.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello Fil12,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with this product. We are concerned to read that you are feeling let down and that the unit has not fully met your expectations. 80V 2Ah lithium-ion battery (recharges in 30 minutes) provides up to 120 cuts on 4x4 lumber. If you intend to cut more we would recommend a second battery. Please allow our team to gather some further details so that we can help find a resolution for you. Please contact Greenworks Pro toll-free helpline at 1-855-345-3934. All we ask is that you have access to the unit, battery, and charger so that we can complete troubleshooting with you and gather the necessary unit information.
I bought this because I grew tired of tuning up the old Gas Saw and IMO Nothing worse then saw stalling out on the ladder this saw just push a button and it's on. One Battery about the equivalent of 2 1/2 tanks on gas Saw Cut Down hardwood Tree 36 inches in Diameter and cut it up in firewood length on Two Battery Charges no way am I going back to gas Saw
I've had a Gas chainsaw for years, and it's been years since I've used it because it's such a pain in the Gas. I haven't used it because I hated mixing the Oil with the Gas, and then trying to get it started. So after I bought my 80v Tiller and saw I could use the same battery in a Chainsaw, I got a great deal on the 18" bar model. It's Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful. Real powerful, not too heavy, and no Cord because it starts at the touch of a button. And when you put it down, you don't have to keep it idling, or pull on that Cord again. I cut through nice size Oak limbs with ease, so I will be getting rid of all my Gas powered Garden Equipment.
