[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As powerful as a gas-powered saw. Simple to use, good safety features, and durable. I find nothing negative about this product. I am glad I purchased it and would purchase another one in the future without hesitation.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After it charges I will give it a try and advise later. The charger has a loud fan. My model pkg wasn’t displayed in your pick list for chainsaw
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was blown away by how well this saw cut. Battery last a long time in great for cutting limbs even the big ones. Would highly recommend.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My newest addition to my greenworks line up is this chain saw. Quiet, yet strong, with no fumes or exhaust or 2 stroke oil to deal with. All of the power, none of the hassle. Using this with the 4Ah battery gives plenty of juice to get the job done. It’s also light weight and does not cause as much fatigue when using on bigger jobs.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only used it once so far. Loads of power. At 71 years old, I like not having to get a gas saw started. Power ran out about the same time as I did. If I was younger, I would get a second battery. I was surprised how fast the battery charged up. It went from dead to full charge in about an hr! If you purchase one, keep an eye on the chain. I had to adjust it several times, but that's not an issue for me.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very impressed with the power of the saw. It cuts as well as any gas powered saw. The chains themselves come very sharp.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] could be 5 stars if my issue gets taken care of. the tool is excellent, there is a delay when you pull the trigger. This threw me at first; I quickly came to appreciate it, as I avoided many premature cuts while pruning. the 2ah battery made it through 2 very ignored apple trees. I was done before the battery was. on a very large section of an ancient figured big leaf maple with a 50/50 of hard as rock and spalted wood. Was very impressed. most of the cuts were made through crotches and other areas of tight dense grain and once again the battery outlasted the job with 2 bars left. I've owned a few saws and this is the first one that has actually oiled the chain well. It holds quite a bit of oil as well Its not as compact as i would like for trying to maneuver in between branches. Time will tell on longevity of the product but so far i havn't seen any warning signs. neither the battery or the tool heated up during use and the chain ran at the correct speed with no perceivable power loss. the charger was used twice when it first arrived i put both batteries on and charged them to 100%. unplugging the unit when done. When i tried to recharge the batteries after using the saw for the first time there was nothing. the charger is dead. I've registered my product and the next step is to call the 1 800 #. If it is possible I will update this review with details of the rest of my experience
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello jgmess.
Thank you for the detailed review. We are happy you are overall pleased with the chain saw! We are sorry to hear about the experience you have encountered with the charger. Here are a few troubleshooting suggestions to check out. 1) When the battery is inserted, the light should begin flashing green to indicate the battery is charging. If this light is not igniting or is flashing red, this may indicate an issue, and we would be interested in hearing more about this. If the light simply goes solid red, try removing the battery and unplugging the charger for about 10 minutes and place them both indoors in a room temperature setting, as this might indicate the battery is at the incorrect temperature to be charged. 2) Ensure that the battery has been fully inserted into the charger. Sometimes this requires a firm push into place to make sure that it has been properly seated. 3) Try resetting the charger. To do this, simply unplug it for approximately 10 minutes and then plug it back in and try reinserting the battery. If the charger has been plugged in for extended periods of time, this can sometimes cause the charger to malfunction. We have a video that helps explaining how to charge the battery. It is a different model but the charging feature is the same. You can check it out here: (https://youtu.be/g8Xz43deavo?t=131). [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the light balanced, feel and power is amazing. I have a gas one but tired of always filling up gas/oil. The 80 V gives me plenty of torque and The battery life really is More than needed. I also have the pro 80 V blower which also has a 80v 4AH. Between these two pieces of equipment, I’m a GreenWork fan for life
