I think it’s important that you follow the instructions very carefully otherwise, getting this connected to your home Internet will prove problematic. Also, I am using this thermostat in my garage. It constantly reads 35° This winter, No matter what the temperature is(When it is below 35°). Furthermore I cannot set the temperature to 40°, as the lowest setting is 50°. I just need it warm enough in the garage to keep the pipes from freezing. So it probably wasn’t the best choice for the garage even though it is what was recommended by our heating cooling people.
That it seemed way excessive just like EVERYTHING with the smart phone! Like “joined at the hip” where people can’t live without their phone.
But, instead of originally thinking it was a ridiculous app, I find that I’m using it all the time since I haven’t bothered actually programing it yet.
Product is not connecting well - frequently getting alerts that it is losing connection. Can't set up a schedule easily and share it to multiple devices. Can do so at the beginning but not easy to adjust later
This is a great addition to my heating and cooling system at home. It looks very sleek on the wall, with the current temperature shown all the time. The brightness of the temperature can easily be modified to what suites you best. Mine is currently set at 0, which is very dim so to see the temperature you have to touch the screen. I also have it set on a schedule which was easy to setup. If you need to adjust it, you re-enter the schedule and change it. This get reflected immediately. My only con is that it is not easy to modify the wifi setting. I change the 2.4Ghz SSID and was not easy to change on the unit, so should be a menu to change it.
