Don’t buy!

I needed a Zwave thermostat so it would connect with my alarm system app. I wanted to control both thermostats in my home from 1 app. This unit was easy to install but that’s where the fun stops. The heater would not turn off at the set temp. If I set the temp to 72, it would keep going and wouldn’t cut off until it was reaching 78! I contacted Honeywell and did all the troubleshooting. We finally got to a point where they told me to keep an eye on it and contact them back after a few days if the problem persisted. Well…no use in wasting more time on the phone. This thing is garbage.

Offline issues. Dead screen.T6 Pro unit.

C wired thermostat that doesn’t take batteries. Goes offline and screen is completely dark/dead. Impossible to fix despite troubleshooting.

Units failing - goes black and is hot to touch

This is the 3rd unit to fail in this mode. Both original units installed by HVAC company in a two zone system, new construction -- both failed within 18 months within a few weeks of each other, and now one of the replacement units failed in same way: black/blank screen and hot to the touch. Popped out the unit and popped in one from other zone so main floor has heat/hvac but am looking to find a different smart thermostat that doesn't fail as often.

Went blank after 2 years of use

When it’s working, it’s really a nice device especially connected to the smart application. That being said for myself after two years I had to replace the unit.

Wish I could give ZERO stars- Wish I had a differe

Wish we did not own this thermostat. Not responsive to temperature changes as old thermostat was. Not easily navigated from touch panel. I am already locked out of device with no instructions in literature that came with the thermostat, nor any help on-line on Honeywell's absolutely HORRIBLE website, to know how to reset to factory settings so I can get back into the panel and change the heat settings. No assistance by phone. A bad product from a horrible company (IMO). As someone else said- DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

Our HVAC company raved about this thermostat. Less than 6 months after being installed, it stops working. In the middle of a heatwave, in the south. Will ask them to replace, with a thermostat, with more than a 2.2 star rating.

It broke after a year

Im just gonna echo some of the reviews here on this product, installed brand new to a brand new home, it broke 2 days ago in the middle of winter, the house was freezing cold, called support, they dont wanna admit that the unit broke, they kept saying, maybe theres no power, got tired of talking to them so i called the builder and their technician came to the house the following morning, and sure enough its the unit, he just went to his truck and replace the unit. it just upset me that a thermostat breaks after a year, which i barely touch.

App and home sensing worthless. I had a nest that worked great and got this worthless piece in our new house through our contractor. I wish I stuck with nest. Difficult to setup and constantly can't tell if I am home or not. Went back to the schedule option because it works so poorly
