Buy a Nest

The setup on the thermostat was a major pain in the butt. I watched a certified tech spend over an hour getting it right and later found out it was defective. The fan would never shut off.
The second one was also difficult for the tech to install but did work.
Truthfully, the Nest is a better and more user friendly device.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We like the functions of the wi-fi thermostat

We like the new thermostat and wi-if capability for when we are away from home. We had ours installed by our service tech and worth every penny. It was very difficult to connect with wi-fi even for the install tech (the pro version says tech install required). The graphing use did not initially work. On call in, we were told it takes up to 2 weeks for data to start recording. It did start recording usage data.
I would recommend this to a friend!

malfunction with timing in schedule mode

I have the schedule set to cool at 10 PM and then warm at 5 AM BUT every morning at 3 AM it decides to set itself to the higher temp (70) that it should switch to at 5 AM. I am getting very frustrated !!
