It seems like a good thermostat but I've only had it a month. The one drawback I see with it is, you have to switch it from heat to cool. There's no auto for this feature. Its not a big deal though.

Difficult set up instructions for initial setup. Error message on week 2, not sure how to fix it or make it go away. App seems to be working well though. Difficult setup for remote temperature sensors (have not figured this out yet).

This came with the house. This is a thermostat trying to imitate Nest or Evobee. Does not have the software to do so effectively. The phone app is very basic too and lacking features and does mot work consistently. Too many issues. Will save some money and buy a Nest or Ecobee.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
