The good part is that it does what a thermostat should do.
The aspects that need improvement:
1. The wifi setup is a pain. This is one of of those devices that start a wifi access point of its own so you can connect your phone to it and setup your house wifi. Reasonable process for something without a way for user input, but for this thermostat with touch input, they could have made it a lot easier and let you enter your house wifi information directly on the thermostat.
2. I have three thermostats (came with the new house), and I was only able to setup two of them with the Apple Home app.
3. The Honeywell app gets out of sync from the thermostats occasionally. For example, I set the temperature in the app to 78 degrees. As far as I can tell, nothing went wrong. But then I walk over to the thermostat and nothing changed. Because of this, you can't rely on this thermostat if you wanted to control the temperature settings from away.
4. If you log out of the Honeywell app, to log back in, you have to go through the process of re-setting your password.
