I have tried multiple times to schedule the thermostat, it has a mind of its own. I set it to heat at 7:00am. It heats at 5:00am. I finally gave up and cancelled all schedules and set the thermostat to 60 degrees as I was leaving for a week. I checked the thermostat through the app and the temperature was 50 degrees!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We love the thermostats! As a small business owner, I love the fact that I can control the thermostat and lock it all from my phone! I can set routines for when we are open/closed, prevent others from tampering with the settings, and receive a monthly energy report!

Setting up was a bigger hassle than it should be. Took a lot longer as the thermostat got stuck on the connected screen had to restart multiple times for it to do the same thing over and over. Other than that it’s a decent thermostat. The PIN number for the Lock Screen should be able to be changed.
