Difficult to setup, poor connectivity, features

I bought this for a rental unit, so I can monitor the temperature settings and operation.
As other reviews have stated, it is bizarrely complex to add to a WIFI network, and it drops connectivity several times a day. Honeywell says you can set alert notifications, but I have no such menu option. And I assumed you could lock the temperature down to a range (say 68-78 degrees) like my home thermostat can, but there is no option for that, either.

On page 9 you'll find steps on how to get into the installation menu and change the max and min ranges in function 429-432. We would be happy to walk you through turning on the notifications as well. WIFI hookup and online registering impossible
