Device is great once you get it configured, Configuration didn't work like the instructions it came with, we had to call Tech support to get it online with Wi-Fi.

WiFi doesn't work properly - do not buy this

This thermostat is extremely disappointing, and I am considering replacing it entirely. The WiFi capabilities are terrible. As soon as the thermostat was installed and activated, it continually crashed our router for several days, knocking me out of video calls for work and making it impossible to stream television. Once we realized that it was the thermostat doing this, we turned off the WiFi functionality and our home internet worked perfectly again. But now the thermostat keeps lighting up in the middle of the night prompting us to register online to know the outdoor temperature, and it disrupts my sleep almost every night. This is a terrible product.

Very slow response time.
When turning on the Honeywell app [from my iPhone] to read the current temp in the house, the app first shows the PREVIOUS/old temp, since last time I looked. Then takes another 10 seconds before it updates showing what the CURRENT temp is in the home vs. showing me immediately the current temp in the house... that's stupid. Then I have to wait another 10 seconds before the current temp shows up on the screen.
I feel like I'm staring at my screen for a long time compared to the immediate temp reading I received on my previous thermostat + app. which was an older Honeywell unit on their previous app format.
