This thermostat makes it easy to control and monitor our HVAC while away from home. We can set a schedule or warm up our house before we arrive after a vacation. We can also see if someone else has put the temperature up higher than we'd like. The app interface is a little confusing but once you figure it out, its great.

We like how the thermostat performs, however it integrates poorly with Apples home software for an eye phone, Auto setting is to be avoided as otherwise in middle of winter if you get a lot of solar heat through your windows in Minnesota for example it will turn on the AC in the dead of winter. Finally ours failed at approximately 9 months. Fortunately in early fall not the dead of winter or during the smoke haze of the summer.

So far, so good. This replaced an older so an older Wi-Fi thermostat that lost its mind. The T6 doesn't have a weather app like the old one, but it's doing exactly what it needs to do. Setting up the app on my phone seemed a bit complicated, but once connected, it's working perfectly.
