Good Smart thermostat from a trusted name in HVAC

Went with this thermostat because
- my existing conventional thermostat was a Honeywell (battery powered)
- compatibility with Ring app (I have Ring doorbells - no security system)
Good choice ... clear, concise instructions made installation easy (even with additional C wire - no more batteries), and operation through Ring app is likewise. Good set of features too - home/away temperature settings with geofence perimeter is especially nice. I expect this will pay for itself within a few months of electric bill savings.

This work as expected. My home came with the same thermostats, but the none wi-fi version. It was easy to install, but I am a little bit savvy in net work connection so I was able to overcome some of the challenges in the wi-fi setup part. One they are set, they work great so far. Four start due to the challenges in the Wi-fi.

I love that I can control the thermostat from my phone. If it gets too cold in the middle of the night, I don’t need to get out of bed to change the settings. If you want to program it, it’s very easy.
