Had a Honeywell and a Nest in the same hone replaced the Nest because of poor performance also remote sensors did not work well

Two problems with the product. The product uses an external sensor to measure the outdoor temperature but does not display the outdoor temperature which would be nice to have in a future software release. Also the product has lost the WIFI signal twice already in six weeks and needed to be reset.

I had to switch form my beloved Nest to this thermostat when swapped out my furnace/AC. It lacks nice features like voice activation and connection with google mini. the Phone app is also not very friendly and annoyingly doesn't seem to have an option for giving temps in Celsius. Definitely a step down...

The thermostat work well. Simple - easy to use. However, the WIFI app setup instructions were, for me, very confusing. There is a complex process of putting your phone in "airplane mode" (called something else in the instructions - which is confusing) and communicating to the thermostat to program it from your phone. Finally got it to work, but took a couple tries. Also, there apparently is no Web Option for connectivity (i.e., going to a website to control the thermostat - only the app on a phone. Different from other products.
