I have had this thermostat for only a month so I can't speak to length of life but so far it has been very reliable. And I LOVE that I can change the temperature setting from anywhere...my car on my way home from work, my bed, from my easy chair. So far I love it. After I've had it awhile I can update this review and probably give it 5 stars.
