The cold setting I gets overrides by the heat setting even though I have not asked for heat to go on. Told I can only change the setting when I am in front of the thermostat and not remotely.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Honeywell T6 Wi-Fi Thermostat and C-Wire Adapter

Really impressed with this Thermostat that I had installed along with the C-wire Adapter. I did not have a “C” wire and struggled to find a WiFi Thermostat that would work without batteries. The Honeywell C-Wire Adapter solved that problem and works perfectly with this Thermostat. I was going to try and install on my own and realized quickly this is a job for a professional. The thermostat looks great on the wall especially with the included trim ring. The functionality is straight forward either directly on the Thermostat or with the Honeywell App. After installation the Installer was so impressed he told me he was going to order the same setup for his home.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My ability to control the temp from my cell phone from anywhere in the house via wi-fi is a great feature. What's even better is geofence. I set the geometric radius around my home so when I start to leave work 7 miles away, it's already telling my heat pump to cool things down to literally 72. For my pets -- a dog and cat, their life is comfortable during my work days at 74. I'll change these numbers for the few days in Florida when it gets cooler or even cold during the winter. Beyond being convenient, these 2 degrees of change will help me to save on my electric bill and that's always a good thing.

I can't give this 5 stars because 8 have nothing to compare it to. This is the first time that we have ever had a smart thermostat and I love the convenience of being able to change the temp from my phone.
