It’s really easy to program and synchronized with your iPhone, convenient and allows you to readily adjust the inside temperature as outside fluctuates. I love my SMART thermostat!!!!

I had the thermostat professionally installed, which was not inexpensive, but I did not want to mess with all the wiring (and some re-wiiring) that was required.
Downloading the app and getting started was easy. The problem occurred when I tried to connect to the cloud system. It repeatedly failed to complete. I finally called for assistance, but the first rep really offered not help - saying it might take 24-48 hours to register. I called again and learned that the "cloud" system was down and that they expected it to be back up in a few hours. It was, and the connection completed. Not sure why the first rep was unaware of the issue.

This is the second replacement in only 90 days. I suspect a flaw in the manufacturing. After several weeks of use the fan blower will stay on well after the system os either "off" or reached its temperature. My hvac technician also had noted experiencing issues with this model and suprised since Honeywell usually has a good product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
