WiFi doesn't work properly - do not buy this

This thermostat is extremely disappointing, and I am considering replacing it entirely. The WiFi capabilities are terrible. As soon as the thermostat was installed and activated, it continually crashed our router for several days, knocking me out of video calls for work and making it impossible to stream television. Once we realized that it was the thermostat doing this, we turned off the WiFi functionality and our home internet worked perfectly again. But now the thermostat keeps lighting up in the middle of the night prompting us to register online to know the outdoor temperature, and it disrupts my sleep almost every night. This is a terrible product.

Device is great once you get it configured, Configuration didn't work like the instructions it came with, we had to call Tech support to get it online with Wi-Fi.

So far, so good. This replaced an older so an older Wi-Fi thermostat that lost its mind. The T6 doesn't have a weather app like the old one, but it's doing exactly what it needs to do. Setting up the app on my phone seemed a bit complicated, but once connected, it's working perfectly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We like how the thermostat performs, however it integrates poorly with Apples home software for an eye phone, Auto setting is to be avoided as otherwise in middle of winter if you get a lot of solar heat through your windows in Minnesota for example it will turn on the AC in the dead of winter. Finally ours failed at approximately 9 months. Fortunately in early fall not the dead of winter or during the smoke haze of the summer.
