Installed by contractor after the original thermostat was shorted out by a surge. Programing is confusing. Instructions in the manual are minimal. Finally got it right after u tube video. You cant program changes in scheduke via smartphone. There are modrls i eould have preferred

It was very easy to set up , and very easy to use on my phone . You can power it on or off and change ventilation modes right on your phone very nice .it has all the options I was looking for .

Set up is easy. Changing the temperatures and times is very intuitive. Each day can be set different or days can be grouped together. I like being able to turn the furnace up while on my way home.

Overall I am very satisfied with this product, it easily and quickly connects to wifi and is easy to control, both directly on the thermostat and through the app. The only thing that was a little odd was after a year of use, the thermostat screen went blank and could no longer be used. However, as the app was setup I could still easily control the heating and cooling functions for the entire house. My technician did mention this is a very rare occurrence and arrived the following day to replace the thermostat.

I like the fact that I can adjust the temperature no matter where I am. There is also a great feature that changes the temperature when we leave the house to save money. The cost of the unit was well worth what we got in versatility and energy savings.
