The thermostat functions just fine as a simple thermostat. But as a "smart" thermostat the functionality, specifically in the app, is lacking. No functionality to control the circulation fan run times. Only has heat, cool, and off as operating moods, versus being able to have the system hold between two set points and heat and cool as required.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am by pleased with this thermostat so far. I do like the feature of seeing the current weather along with the operation of the app.
However, I am disappointed that I am unable to purchase and install the outdoor camera that operates on the same system. Is there anyway I am able to get around this as there are no contractors in my area able to install? Thanks and very much looking forward to your response.

Im using the T6 Pro Smart Thermostat in our vacation home. It's great to be able to control the temperatures of the home from a distance. The T6 will pay dividends which our electric bill as we can manipulate the internal temperature as needed.

Heat seems to come on at an earlier time than what I set. I set it to come on at 7am and it starts 20 to 30 minutes sooner. This is frustrating, I don't like the heater waking us up before the time I have set. Is there any way to fix this problem? And I have reset it several times.

It works, Wi-Fi/HomeKit Integration Must Improve

The unit works well on its own, but it is exceedingly difficult to setup on your home wi-fi and Apple HomeKit. When the unit loses access to your home wi-fi, you must reset the wi-fi settings and re-do the instructions again.
