It is alright. It sucks that you can't change the temperature with the app, so the app is basically useless and so is having this thing wifi capable. You also can't set the temperature below 65, which makes no sense. So that means also the heat will come on at 65 and for those that don't need the heat to come on, don't get it. This thermostat came with the house and its the worse, i prefer the old school dial ones, then this thermostat.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
