Thermostat was installed by HVAC System technician when I was not at home. Instructions were misplaced. Took two calls to figure out how to calibrate program. Going through menu could be simplified by allowing programming with a smart phone. Once programmed, thermostat has great features. I have elected to manually adjust temperature because we are either at the house or away for days. Geofencing is a good idea but not if we are running errands nearby, therefore I did not setup geofencing.

Pros:
• Human interface well-designed and effective.
• Looks good on wall.

Cons:
• The control algorithm seems deficient. I have a variable-speed air handler, but a lower speed is only used briefly (~30 Sec.) when the A/C compressor comes on, and not at all when it turns off. I expected a lower speed much more of the time, instead of essentially jumping between completely off and maximum speed.
• Almost every time I come back to the app, I get a message about too many logins. When I close the app and reopen it, login by finger ID works normally. (Running on iPhone with iOS 14.6.)

Note:
• Not an issue for me, but the instructions, etc., are in British English. For example “holiday” instead of “vacation.”

App does not work well, does not interface with home devices. Schedule settings labels (Sleep, Wake, Away, Home) do not reflect my schedule and should be able to be renamed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
