Terrible. Won't keep the correct temperature, I had to buy a digital thermometer to put next to it to calculate what temperature I actually want to be set. I have requested work on this three times now. Thermostat is constantly 2-3 degrees off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was really excited when I got my new apartment to see a Wifi connected thermostat - even moreso when I realized it's Homekit enabled! I always loved the idea of a digital thermostat but one owned by Google... not so much. I despite the idea of Google being able to track whether I'm home or not. Honeywell is the brand I've seen on thermostats since I was a kid so I know I can trust them. I love being able to change the temp on my phone. I (literally) just did it from the other side of my planet of my apartment. Honeywell: Keep up the great work. Even though I got this thermostat with my apartment rental, I'd buy one if I owned a home and recommend you do the same.

The thermostat seemed reliable but the geofencing part was not repeatable. Changed out for an Ecobee. The house is much more comfortable with the Ecobee
