connecting with wifi was super difficult (took several hours with tech support) and required connecting through a cellular network to register then connecting through wifi. definitely an issue with the thermostat in terms of not being able to communicate well with a current wifi setup.

Connection procedure is clunky and long, and it took several tries to work.
After a couple of weeks, the app and the thermostat were out of sync.
