T6 Thermostat was installed with my new AC system. About a month after installation, Honeywell app went offline for some reason. I reconnected and eventually I had control over my thermostat again. Not sure why it went offline but i really appreciate the convenience of being able to program my thermostat from anywhere.
I'm already having trouble with the wifi capability. They keep going offline and there is no interruption in my internet service. Not sure what is going on.
It does the job and can get you limited customization via the phone app. In the end, it just barely crosses the qualifications to be a “smart” thermostat. You can change the temperature and set a schedule but it doesn’t offer anything else. No easy sensors to add or any form of AI to help make your system more efficient.
Easy To use the setup and settings. The internet connection is the best.

Works as well as nay manual thermostat. if you want something that stays connected to the internet get a Nest. We set it up before leaving the house for the winter and it worked. The first time we had a break in connectivity the only way to reset was to drive 1,800 miles and stand in front of the thermostat. Brilliant design.
It is hard to read the screen. The prompts are not intuitive. This system is not user friendly. My children, who live on technology, had problems figuring out the thermostat. I'm never quite sure if the program changes I put in are accepted. Not everyone wants to use an app to adjust a thermostat, some people like to do all the adjustments on the actual equipment. Maybe twenty years from now everyone will use a phone for everything, but right now this is a transition stage, and product developers should remember that fact.
