Really don’t like the fact that the thermostat is 2 degrees off.
For the cost of the thermostat it should be accurate.
The reading is taken 6 inches away from the thermostat and the installer
Said this is normal. Unfortunately I expected more from Honeywell.

This thermostat was given to us from the HVAC company that installed my AC and heater. They couldn’t get the Bluetooth to work so they were going to switch it to Nest as they gave up. I spent the next trying myself and finally after many failed attempts it finally connected. I will say I’m very tech savvy but this was not easy to set up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This has been a handy WiFi enabled thermostat that works quit well. We have used the app on several devices and it makes setup and adjusting quite easy. Minus 1 star for disabling auto changeover feature by default that allows system to automatically change back and forth from heat or cool as needed. We had to have our installer come back and enable that feature.

I had a different smart thermostat that kept doing weird things like turning on the furnace when it was set to cool only. (The popular round one.) Called my HVAC guy who said these are the best. I now totally agree. Easier to program. And not worried that I may get home from vacation this summer to a hot house!
