Very annoying that when attempts to register online fail repeatedly, and then the unit alerts me to register online. Usually at Midnight and thee alert is at the leds brightest setting so you get to get out of bed to turn it off.
If you have an android phone the app will not work, you must use an Apple phone to link the thermostat. After you link to your apple phone and send an invite to your android phone it will work. Took a long time to figure this out. Working now.
There were 2 of these installed in the house when I moved in. To even start the process, I had to call (not email, chat, etc.) to get the device unlinked from the previous owner. Managed to get through the setup of 1 unit, but had to call again because the second unit still wasn't removed from the previous account. Managed to get both online and connected to Alexa. Then within a couple days, they both lost wifi connection, and the crappy app l breaks when I try to fix it. Looking forward to getting rid of these, and going with nest or something.
