Nice Thermostat with really good features that works well and looks nice. WIFI range is great on them as I have a large area to cover to get to my router and it had no issue once connected. The only issue I had was the directions to get the TSTAT connected to the WIFI. The Honeywell Home App does a good job for most of the installation but on the last couple of steps for the WIFI setup it is not clear when to connect via the app directly and when to jump back and connect via the network to get the TSTAT paired with the network. I am an engineer so very use to setting up these types of devices and was able to figure out the sequence but I think the app needs a little work on the directions.

I programmed the stat using the app which wasn’t as user friendly as I thought it could have been. But it’s great to be able to use the app to raise or lower the temp without getting out of bed.

Very nice but need engineering degree to operate. Very difficult to operate and download onto phone app. However, since able to download the email tips has helped make it easier to the operate the device.

Directions included with the unit are very vague. Once I went online it became a lot clearer on how to set up and program (I thought). I was still having problems with getting the unit to work properly on my phone. Another few days and I again went back online and finally figured out how I can program and use the online app. I would suggest Honeywell give better step by step direction in writing and online. With all this said I am happy with this unit now that I fully understand it.

The T6 Honeywell was recommended to me by my HVAC tech when I said I wanted a nest. He told me this worked well with a heat pump and the nest was a bit harder to switch from the heat pump to the regular furnace.
So far, no issues. I have it set to warm/cool the place when someone is there (via tracking our phones) and to save energy when we are away. It also has a separate sleep setting so it can be cooler overnight while we sleep. East setup, easy to operate, and overall a great product.
