what i like about this thermostat is that, this is the only smart thermostat that you can have wired sensor attach to it. if it was showing the outside temperature and the weather forecast, it would make it better thermostat.
Pretty astonished that for a sophisticated product from a global technology company, basic functions either are difficult to navigate, conflict with each other or are inaccessible from anywhere other than a phone app. You can't apply geofence at the same time as a schedule so if you want to turn your heat down overnight while having the opportunity to save fuel when you go on a hike over the weekend, you have to leave schedule on and manually turn the t-stat down when you leave. Why do I have a smart t-stat then? The thing that's most infuriating is that there are known bugs with the iphone software (believe me, I don't blame Honeywell for THAT though they should be on the constant lookout for iOS updates) but there is no way to access the t-stat from a simple web browser linked to your account on Honeywell/Residio. If your app isn't connecting to the t-stat or otherwise not working, back to manual for you. Very surprising.
I expected better from a Honeywell Smart Thermosta

The geo-fencing on the app is very glitchy and often delayed. Google Home often loses connection with the thermostat and the on-screen menu options are not very clear.
