started with some smaller brand names that had some good programmability, but they only lasted 6 months. I needed something that was going to last a long time. these are easy to log into and easy for the guests to operate.

good thermostat. the problem is that the wi-fi is not as good as the previous model i had,(honeywell) it caused trouble setting it up. it seems to be working fine now.

This thermostat came with my new “Smart” home.
Rather than go through all the setup, programming, and connectivity issues described in other reviews, I use Alexa to control and monitor this device.

No Wi-Fi

This product is your worst nightmare!! Tried to connect to the home app and Wi-Fi will not work, even had the installer try to no avail . This is a very difficult unit to setup do not buy a T6 try something else.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Installed this thermostat in 2017 and have had no problems. I am an IT guy so the connection to WiFi was a breeze and have had no issues. Like that I can set the temp from the app on my phone and can adjust when I am away in case I forget. Just wish there were more settings for heat/cool.

Not connecting to my iPhone

while I tried many times to connect my iPhone with my home thermostat, getting error due to thermostat is not compatible with IOS 14.0 or above which is completely annoying.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I installed this thermostat several years ago, did the setup as per all the instructions. Yes you have to read everything and understand all the settings to get everything working correctly. I am a HVAC Contractor so I understand all the lingo involved in the setup. I have been all over the country and can connect via the app to my home and check/adjust temps anytime when needed. Great stat, with a ton of features!
