Can not read just looking at it because without tapping there is no constant background light. Our previous thermostats had this feature.

The thermostat seems to work good. I had it installed professionally along w a new furnace. However, even the professional had a difficult time getting the thermostat synced with my Wi-Fi so I could control it remotely with the Honeywell Hime App. Numerous attempts and “work arounds” had to be tried to get it to finally work correctly. Once it was synced with wi-fi it worked well.

The thermostat is easily managed by the app the one concern I have is that it takes about a minute or so for heat to start after I set the temperature. There’s a delay and I’m not sure why. Other than that it’s great

Easy to setup, I like having the app, although it seems a little slow to open to thermostat page. The scheduling ability is especially nice and easy to setup.
