It seems fine. Not a real elegant interface, but it seems to get the job done. I'm happy that it's hard-wired; my former battery-powered thermostat could get a little glitchy. Programming the weekly schedule is easy, but I'd prefer Sat and Sun to be programmable differently from one another. Spend some time reading online documentation, as some of the features are a little hidden (like HOLD). I've connected the thermostat to wifi and that works, too. There are limitations on what the app will do, so investigate the options. Seems you're out of luck, for example, if you've turned your system OFF at the thermostat and try to fix that remotely. Just invest a little time in learning the details, then practice making adjustments while you're still onsite and can evaluate the results. I'm happy with my purchase but suspect there are better options; this is what came with my new furnace/AC install. You'll see lots of TERRIBLE reviews, and I suspect those are spam because the unit really works just fine. Lots of the complaints are clearly from people who haven't read the manual and haven't learned some of the nuances of operating the unit.
The wi-fi setup is hard or even impossible unless you're on a 2.4 GHz network. I don't like that you can't set a range so it automatically switches between heat and cool, like other smart thermostats. Might switch it out to something more modern.
