Very easy setup and use. When the wife rolls over and says "go turn the heat up" so you roll over and turn it up on your phone, nice. First world blessings.

Nice basic thermostat - Not too reliable, however

Nice looking, basic looking thermostat, BUT, it was not intuitive to program, and I get a message EVERY DAY telling me that communication with the thermostat has been lost! We have another model Honeywell thermostat in our home (this T6 Pro is in our garage) and it is truly an awesome thermostat, very intuitive, very attractive, AND IT JUST WORKS!! But this T6 Pro has been a challenge. I am thankful that it being in a garage, it does not require any real sophistication, but if it wants Internet access, it should be capable of maintaining it, reliably. The mobile app is really basic, but it works. I've not tried to use it after getting the communication failure message so don't know how that will work out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
