So far so good. Recomended by HAVC contractor. It has more functions than the nest it replaced, but the one thing I miss is the humidity level. This doesn't measure humidity.
I like the circulate function which the nest did not have.
It was a little difficult to program the WIFI, took 3 tries, but once connected it works as expected. It has a nice clean look, and seems to hold the temperature setting with only 1 degree +/- unlike the old thermostat which could be as much as 4 degrees +/-.
I have not as yet tried the schedule function, but I don't really need it as I can set all functions with my phone over WIFI. I've had this for about a month now with no issues.
The jury is still out as far as longevity is concerned, but the quality seems to be very good and I do not anticipate any problems.
All in all I like this thermostat a lot.

Bought this so we can check our furnace is working when we are out of town - worried about a failure causing frozen pipes. Like it! But for an older gal like me a wee bit complicated on the connecting to Wi-Fi side, we got new internet service and it caused issues however the IT help on the phone was great and we are up and running again. Once you have it set up it is pretty easy to operate.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Do not purchase Honeywell T6 thermostat

This thermostat is poorly designed. It does not read the room temp correctly and cycles itself on/off every 5 mins. The wifi function is useless because the thermostat keeps disconnecting itself from the wifi.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I received this thermostat free as part of a government energy program. It had been working fine for 2 years until my wifi modem was changed to a combination 2.4g/5g one. The wifi for the thermostat then stopped. Trying to get it back online proved unsuccessful and frustrating on numerous occasions. I called my internet provider and they were able to split the wifi modem into 2 separate signals. I was then able to connect it back again, but it was not easy. So you MUST have a 2.4 ghz wifi signal in order to make it operate, like its says in the literature. WILL NOT WORK WITH 5G MODEMS Happy now that it is working again. Love the geo-fence feature.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The thermostat works fine most of the year. The problem is only being able to select heating or cooling mode. If the temp is warm during the day but drops overnight, the mode is set for cooling and not heating so the system never clicks on at night when you need heat.
