This is the most user-unfriendly piece of tech in the consumer market. If you are shopping for your home, avoid this abomination at all cost. If you buy this for an apartment complex, people will curse the day you were born for years to come. The "programming" is the opposite of intuitive, and there is absolutely no way to turn off the gazillion of over-complicated features most people neither want or need. The on-screen prompts are meaningless, the buttons are confusing, and the experience of simply trying to turn on the A/C is as pleasant as sticking needles under your fingernails. Whoever designed it: next time, please, either go with a full-on question-answer AI-based interface or stick to a simple Heat-AC-OFF switch. Even manually plugging and unplugging the AC unit would have been less of a nightmare than this piece of crap.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the fact that this has WI-FI connection. So easy to control and to set the temperature lower or higher if you forget when you go out and are returning home. I would recommend to anyone.

I really like this T6 but it has one major inconvenience/flaw. Unlike the Nest that as you walk up to the it the backgroung lights up. With the T6 you need to go into settings and keep the background light constantly on. Other than that it is a great thermostat.

Once you pair it with your iPhone, it does everything and more for your home comfort. On trips you turn down your temperature and monitor it to be sure your house is not to cold. You can adjust your heating and cooling from the comfort of your chair or many miles away. There are schedules or you can easily do manual.
