Very simplistic WiFi thermostat. Easy to program especially with the app loaded on my phone. Not a lot of bells and whistles to complicate the set up process. Good for anyone looking to be able to use newer technology to program without needing to be a computer programer.

I had a Nest before and really liked it so I didn't think I would like this one but I was wrong. It works great and the phone app is easy to use. Really enjoying this new thermostat.

Absolutely stupid because it doesn't sync properly with my Android phone. WiFi keeps disconnecting. Can't set my home/away/sleep status. Why make a smart thermostat to compete with Nest? Just give me the basic functionalities at the bare minimum to start with. We inherited this with our home, a 1 year old system. Would not recommend to anyone else.

I'm so glad you asked! I have had this thermostat less than a month, and it keeps needing to be reprogramed. Right now it can only be used manually because it is off line. Nothing else in the house is off line, the internet is working fine. I tried, repeatedly, to contact customer service. I waited on hold for more than an hour each time. No one picks up, there is no call back or chat option and this is the first I've seen of an email contact option. I will be replacing this unit asap and will not purchase another Honeywell product.
