It was difficult to program on the wifi the explanations are deficient in the Manual. I had to contact customer service for the steps to follow. I was using an iPhone for programming it was not user friendly. But afterwards, once the wifi is properly installed, the application will go to number A1
This device was very difficult to set up for WiFi using an iPhone. Customer support via the telephone is non existent. You will need to read articles on the Honeywell support to complete the installation. There is a issue with Honeywell and Apple that has not been resolved.
It took an hour with my AC guy on the phone with the tech to get the thermostat to recognize/accept my router. We also have an Emerson at another home had no problems.
The reason that we gave your product a 3 star rating was because of the initial installation and programming. We had a new heat pump and propane furnace installed by our HVAC company. They had a great deal of difficulty programming the unit and eventually the HVAC experienced electrician made a call to your representative to walk him through the process. That took close to an hour. We opted not to have the thermostat connected to Wifi, for various reasons. Now that it is installed and programmed it works great. It maintains 20 with the heat pump and it has not been cold enough yet to trigger the furnace. The initial programming seemed very complex and I cannot imagine buying one and self programming.
