The thermostat appears to be a quality product. It is pleasing to the eye and was easy to connect to my cellular via Wi-Fi. There is one problem which is likely a setting and easily corrected however I can not get in touch with Honeywell customer service to discuss it. Every time I call I am placed on hold and told that my wait will be more than an hour. That is terribly unsatisfactory. I am at work and cannot wait that long. Nobody should have to wait that long under any circumstances. try offering a callback option or something to improve access to customer service. I will give the thermostat a much better rating after I can finally get some assistance.
I needed to contact customer support to complete my setup, but the service technician on the phone was extremely helpful and by the time we were done everything was setup (programmed) as I had wanted. Thank you - well done.
I had 2 non WiFi T6 installed with a new vacation home we had built- so adding these was as simple as unplugging the original stat and plugging in the new WiFi enabled stats. Just had some simple programming to do and linked it to my home WiFi. I have it enabled to be commanded through Alexa which is really nice as well. Exactly what I wanted so I can check temps and change settings while they home is empty/ I have not yet enabled the geofencing but can do that at some point as well to enable it to automatically go into “away” mode when we are gone.
