Professionally installed, the thermostat temp readings were not accurate at first. Had to change the CPH on heat from 9 to 4 because it was literally turning on every few minutes. There is no temp differential setting, and the internet connection is highly unstable and drops very often.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

There are NO instructions for operating the thermostat in any of the paperwork provided. NOTHING guilds you through the set up and NOTHING explains the features and what they are used for. EX What does the cooling to and heat to feature mean? The device might be good by the instructions stink.
Works with HASSIO and Alexa. Needed to run setup from the stat vs the app to get it working. Only negative I have is it does not show the outside temp from the attached sensor. Sometimes it seems to overrun the setting. Set to 68 and take a peek and it reports it is 70. Perhaps I need to dbl check the settings but that said it does not always do it. Oh, I am also dual fuel. Heat Pump with a gas furnace. That seems to work fine as in if set to use gas below outside temp of 45 it does,
Out of the box set up was not easy (even for an experienced tech person). Using with Apple HomeKit - the thermostat doesn't always register or wake up. (Tried to assign a fixed IP based on googling the challenges.)
This thermostat is always going far beyond the limits you set for it. If we set it to heat to 72 and cool to 74, the heat will kick on and it won’t turn off. The room will be 78 degrees with the heat still in full force and I have to manually turn the AC on.
