Its nice to be able to change the temp remote but its not very easy to set up...needed to redo the router and create a separate 2.4 channel and then have my phone only connect to the 2.4 channel to get it to connect...painful 3 day project

It works well as a connected thermostat that I can use from anywhere. But the fact that it won't connect to a whole house system (like Google in my case or Alexa for a friend) severely limits it's usefulness in for us. I really can't recommend it unless you don't have another smart home system in place. Then it's decent.

Never had the offline problems we have had with these thermostats before. American Pros came back out and we downloaded a newer app. Worked for a while but is now started going offline again.

I just recently replaced my Heat Pump and Air Handler with a new Trane split system. They installed a new WIFI Resideo Thermostat downstairs and upstairs and they are wonderful and convenient to operate from my Iphone. Definitely recommend the Resideo Thermostat.
