This thermostat works great.... love the Apple Homekit integration. I did have some difficulty getting it to connect to my wifi... But persistence paid off and it's connected and working great now. I would have given 5 stars except for the set up. It wasn't super intuitive.

My family has a cabin and property the Alberta Canada foothills. The property is used for summer for the grazing of cattle and for recreation purposes, but in winter it also serves to meet the pump-house and water system needs for some domestic animals fed by a neighbor. My HVAC supplier recommended the T6 Pro Smart thermostat to ensure we are able to maintain and remotely monitor dependable heat in this home.

Installed when my unit was replaced and worked fine for a while. I started loosing contact with my WIFI and it goes in and out but the rest of the house is fine. Now I have the WIFI symbol but an x appeared at the corner of it and it will not communicate. Very disappointed in this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Difficult to program and needs constant monitoring to keep the temperature comfortable. Requiring a smart phone to make it work isn't the way to do it, and online instructions are inadequate.

It's a nice and convenient way to monitor the temperature, once you've figured out how to link the Wi-Fi and sync Honeywell Home App. Otherwise you have full control from the your phone. In my case I linked it with the Apple Home App, to make it easier to adjust temperatures while I'm home.
This would be a 5 star review, lacking the smart learning. The interface takes a bit of getting used to, although it's all there in black and white. The other downside to this unit is a battery back-up to run the thermostat. If the power goes out, pretty much out of heat.
Overall once everything is set up, you can start scheduling the temps according to time of day and the days you want to keep the house warm or cool.
I would recommend this to a friend!
