I believe I will like this thermostat much better than my previous one. However. I set up a schedule for wake and sleep. The sleep didn't come on automatically. I had to manually change the temperature. I will keep an eye on it.
Contractor set it up for me with date and time. Easy to use once set up for me. I am not sure what EM Heat means... the APP was a bit difficult to install but after 3 attempts I was able to install. CS out of country and very difficult to reach. One problem with APP is it doesn’t remember your sign in data. In the middle of the night you need to keyboard in the information to change temperature... easier to get Out of bed ...ugh.
had 2 of these installed in my home and neither of them would work. they would not start the furnace. finally bought a different model and it fired right up. this model is junk, plain and simple. I would connect to the wifi, but would never start the furnace no matter what the techs did with the wiring.
The thermostats work great once you get it added to the network. There is evidently incompatible versions of the Honeywell Smart App that causes setup problems. Even tried the contractor mode. I had to go to an iPad with a different version of IOS to get it to work after spending several hours messing with it. Once setup, it works great.
Our T-6 Wi-Fi thermostat works great with two exceptions. 1. It is so hard to find the settings for changing from heating to cooling or off while using your iPhone. You must click on what you named the thermostat. There ought to be another line on the screen that says "settings". 2. The size of the thermostat does not cover up the size of the previous Honeywell thermostat. It lacks about a half inch on both left and right. I am having to hunt down the paint that was used since it is a new house to me.
