Our HVAC company raved about this thermostat. Less than 6 months after being installed, it stops working. In the middle of a heatwave, in the south. Will ask them to replace, with a thermostat, with more than a 2.2 star rating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had three of these in the home I purchased just over a year ago. All three have failed and needed to be replaced. Screen went blank and they heated up.

I am not happy with this product. It keeps raising the temp after it’s been lowered, it adjusts to the away setting frequently when I am home and active. I will have to maintain it on the manual setting to prevent these changes from happening and that defeats the purpose of this type of unit. I was happy with my Sensi and wish the HVAC tech had reinstalled it.
