It works well and I like it now that it is installed and connected to wifi. I had my tech savvy son set it up because the directions were quite out of my ability level and I am pretty good with technology.

First off, I am a HVAC tech, and company owner. I have had 2 of these in my home for several years now. I got them at a Honeywell release party. Years ago when they were new, I had several connectivity problems, but for the last several years they have functioned very well. I don't understand some of the reviews, it seems that people don't know what they bought, or are just stupid.The wi-fi connection process is a bit complicated, but Honeywell does recommend professional instillation...so...
I am not a fan of Honeywell by any means, however my thermostats work as they should! They have some nice features for the price.

This thermostat is basic. We went from a google nest thermostat to this one. I was told my the AC installer that this thermostat was better so I decided to go with it. Now you can setup a schedule but the schedule can not be setup daily or add additional scheduling per day like the Nest can. I will probably have them come back and put the Nest back on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
