I have really enjoyed having this thermostat. I have barely touch it, except for checking it out of curiosity. I do all the adjustments from my smartphone. I feel like it will save money by adjusting the temperature while we are away. I even have connected it to my Google Home unit and able to adjust the temperature with voice commands.
I really wanted a thermostat that would just keep my house within a range temp that would switch modes accordingly. This only offers the ability to schedule changes or kick on suddenly when I'm walking in the door. Yawn.

Replaced my 3rd Generation Nest with this product because it was recommended by an HVAC tech after diagnosing our Nest was broken. First, no wiring diagram for our manufactured home one stage electrical home heat pump system. Had to call to support, waited an hour, and found out the White heat stage wire need to be in W2, not W (the Nest was in W). Second, there are 37 individual settings that I could change and most of these settings are written in Honeywell Tech language. After reading about half the settings, I came upon one that sounded like I wanted it to be changed. For some reason Honeywell default turning off the automatic mode changer from heat to cool, or vise versa. It took changing 3 settings, 2 in the advance settings, and one in the common settings to get it to work. The next one I'm going to attempt to change is the energy saver one on using the Auxillary heat. Wish me luck.
