The thermostat is easy to use. However it constantly drops the app on the phone, so we don’t bother trying to connect it anymore. It’s a huge hassle to connect the app and the thermostat. Also it requires you have location services turned on on your phone. Why does a thermostat need that unless the company is tracking you for god knows what reason. Sigh....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The unit disconnected itself from the wifi and now it will not connect again even though the displays says its connected, the app thinks it is not. What a pain!

Easy to link to my iPhone with Bluetooth. I love being able to control the temperature from my phone. I notice that the temperature is more consistent than with my old system. Of course, I also switched from a forced air furnace to a heat pump.
