Geofencing only reaches about 500 miles. We travel further than that, and would like to be able to program it from a greater distance with the remote access.

Blue tooth thermostat is great but it will not save your settings. Every single time u set the schedual it forgets the schedual. Theb tell u " unable to set preferences". I have givin up trying i will be looking at other options

Each time I log into the app it asks me to input my preferences, which I have already done multiple times.
Also, the app does not find location with app in background so I need to open it each time for the device to know I am home.

The Honeywell Home (Resideo) T6 Wi-Fi works really well and is very affordable. The phone app is free and there is no monthly fee to have access to your thermostat via Wi-Fi 24/7.

New installation, no air conditioning before this. Easy to set up the Wi-Fi connectivity and remote use has been without any problem. I haven’t even used all the features yet. I recommend this thermostat to others. It even looks aesthetically nice
