After seeing the problems my Dad had with his Nest thermostat my husband and I decided to go with the T6 Pro Smart Thermostat. We love it! It is so easy to use and the app on my phone is great when you need to adjust and don't want to stop what you are doing to go to the thermostat.

Good product, could use some improved functions

Thermostat was easy to install replacing a previous version. Manual functions are easy to operate; however, the programming functions are not intuitive or user friendly. Also, while the thermostat does have a locking function, it lacks a feature that would allow homeowner to lock at pre-set minimum/maximum temperatures, as available in other programmable thermostats.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like how easy you can set it and control it from your phone once you download the app. NYSEG has savings events that you can choose to be a part of if you leave your thermostat at a set temperature on the hottest days and then you save on your bill.
