Disconnect regularly and I have to uninstall and reinstall. It is very frustrating. This is not a network issue in our home. We have a mesh network and don’t have problems with other products.
It allows me to monitor and control home temp settings on my iPhone. Great feature! However, getting it all up and running was veeery frustrating. i.e... getting connected to my WiFi system required many attempts; learning to navigate the Honeywell App on my phone was time consuming; and finally, I will advise that the operating manual that came with the thermostat was of little value (all 2 small pages of it). I’m an old, retired electrical engineer. As such, I have a reasonable understanding of systems and instruction manuals. Had Honeywell taken the time to prep a comprehensive operating manual, I most likely could have got it all up and running in a day rather than in the looong month that it took me. And I would have considered giving it a 5 Star rating. All this said, I’m reasonably satisfied with the system. Just wasn’t worth all the stress and effort getting there. :>)
This thing never stays online so it’s app is worthless. You have to be home at all times to control your thermostat. Buy another thermostat where the app works!
