Thermostat is ok. WiFi connection instructions are a little weak. The real issue is the WiFi app Honeywell Home. It is horrible especially when compared to the other Honeywell app Total Comfort Connect TCC. Slow to connect, poor interface, hard to believe this is ment to do the same thing and replace TCC. Would not buy again. Have another thermostat on TCC and love it. This one does not work with that app.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

You need to be aware that if you set up the sleep option, it works great, but if you get too warm, you must either use the app or manually lower the temperature setting.
