You can turn off the program and just set the thermostat for the temperature you want and then forget about it. It never changes unless you want to do it manually.

The thermostat is great, but the app is a hassle. The thermostat keeps disconnecting from the wifi and because of that I can never use the smart features. And I also have to go through the process of reconnecting several times to get the wifi connected again. More of a hassle than its worth
